PolyAn提供一系列单分散PMMA(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯)微球,用于多因子检测、流式细胞仪校准和荧光成像系统校准,以及在生命科学研究中的其他广泛应用。PolyAn微球由具有各种表面3D分子修饰和不同的荧光编码。

PolyAn的微粒可以用六种荧光染料进行颜色编码。在微粒形成过程中,荧光物质团直接融入珠子的核心。与传统的扩散染色工艺相比,这种制作工艺的染料在微球内的分布更加均匀。此外,荧光物质被牢牢锁在聚合物PMMA基质中,不太可能泄漏。CLSM (Confocal laser scanning microscope) 图像显示了PolyAn微球中荧光团的均匀分布。
 
PolyAn 采用专利的分子表面工程(MSE)技术,对微球进行功能化修饰。PolyAn的技术平台可以开发各种不同的表面分子偶联方法。PolyAn微球具有低非特异性吸附和低聚集的特点。

与其他微粒材料相比,使用PMMA可确保优异的光学亮度和较低的自发荧光。PMMA折射率为1.48,与细胞的折射率接近(约1.38)。微粒密度为1.18 g/cm 3,玻璃化转变温度(Tg)约为110°C。PolyAn的PMMA微球具有生物相容性。

PolyAn生产的微球大小一般在2-20μm之间。每种微球是单分散的,体积变异系数(CV)小于5%。
